Rick Sargent M.S., C.M.I

After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Art from the University of Georgia, Rick received a Master of Science in Medical Illustration degree from the Medical College of Georgia and his certification from the Association of Medical Illustrators. Following graduation, he worked as an Art Director and Staff Illustrator for the Hughston Sports Medicine Foundation where his work was featured in an award-winning quarterly newsletter and earned an Award of Merit from the Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Rick is now a fulltime freelance medical illustrator and animator committed to producing quality work in a timely manner. Working with companies such as Novo Nordisk, Inc.; Sultan Healthcare; and Convatec, Inc. just to name a few.

He is an adjunct professor in the graphic design department at The Art Institute of Charleston teaching Flash animation and advanced illustration.
